• Phantom Heads

Thirty Dental Phantom Heads simulators. These simulators are equipped with changeable jaws for different preclinical dental activities which allow student to develop key foundational skills in dental treatment with a focus on safety, control and clinical confidence, to prepare him for real patient treatment. 

• Clinical units

90 full option dental chairs to combine academic theory with real hands-on clinical practice in addition to 5 offices clinics for demonstration and provide specialist dental care. 

The students gain most of their experience working at the faculty of dentistry premises. 

Students also under supervision work closely with the community at outreach through students’ campaigns with portable dental units, these will give them good chance to communicate with the community and opportunity to build their experience and skills outside the classroom.

• Consultancy Clinics

10 full option dental units provide special training for the postgraduate public services at high level under direct supervision of consultants.

• Oral& maxillofacial Surgery Teaching Hospital

           This hospital has outpatient clinic, referral clinic, minor surgery, major surgery theaters       and joint team activities as well as all types of dental emergencies and intensive postgraduate training, such facilities widen the scope of our graduate training and being exposed to different level of experiences in training

• Radiology Unit

          This unit contain latest machines in imaging technology and digital dentistry facilities

• Basic Science laboratories

These laboratories are common in the medical campus and are available for both medical and dental student.

• Molecular biology laboratory

This lab. has all the basic facilities and -80 refrigerator it serves the faculty of dentistry in collaboration with molecular biology institute in the medical campus.  

• Dental laboratories

Includes fixed and removable, orthodontic and Paedodontics labs.  Well equipped with latest dental technology machines to serves both dental student and dental technology students.

• Continuing Education and Professional Development Unit

This has its own premises, its clinics and simulators in addition to the faculty facilities to offers its services to the staff, student and dentist in general, by certified courses, diploma of master professional degrees

• Oral Cancer Research center

This center works by scientists, expert and researchers with high capabilities and valuable material and facilities for important research into oral and oropharyngeal cancer locally and in collaboration with international institutes and research centers. Each year, scientists find out more about what causes the disease, how to prevent it, and how to improve treatment.

• University Libraries

             In addition to little dental facilities, all our students also have access to the  medical  campus  impressive libraries and study facilities and the main university library. These provide the ideal conditions for individual and group work and help students get the most out of their study time.
